Cleveland Ohio Rock/Blues guitarist CJ Wallace has played and studied with some of the world's finest players, from traveling to Cuba to learn from Jorge Chicoy and Norberto Rodriguez to learning from local heroes Bob Ferrazza, Warren Henry and Jeffrey Normal. He has won many awards for his playing, including the Outstanding Guitarist Award in Memphis city schools while growing up in Memphis TN, scholarships to the National Guitar Summer Workshop and tuition waivers to the University of Akron. He has acted as Assistant Director to "Biel's Annual Guitar Camp" in Atlanta, GA, has premiered new works by composers Gregory Engstrom, David Badagnani and Lisa Babb, and has performed with Polish Folk/Gypsy singer Bozena Zayac.
Recently CJ has been scoring soundtracks for local film-makers and is currently writing and recording an album with his new band "Vagrant Revival". |
